This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) sets out the basis on which SNEAKSURF (“we”, “us”, or “our”) may collect, use, disclose or otherwise process personal data of users in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (“PDPA”). This Policy applies to personal data in our possession or under our control, including personal data in the possession of organisations we have engaged to collect, use, disclose, or process personal data for our purposes.

  • “Customer” means an individual who (a) has contacted us through any means to find out more about any goods or services we provide, or (b) may, or has, entered into a contract with us for the supply of any goods or services by us; and
  • “Personal data” means data, whether true or not, about a customer who can be identified: (a) from that data; or (b) from that data and other information to which we have or are likely to have access.
  1. Depending on the nature of your interaction with us, some examples of personal data we may collect from you include name, residential address, email address, telephone number, and shoe size.
  2. Other terms used in this Policy shall have the meanings given to them in the PDPA, where the context permits.


Section 2 - Collection, Use And Disclosure Of Personal Data

  • (a) it is provided to us voluntarily by you or your authorised representative after:
  • (i) you have been notified of the purposes for which the data is collected, and
  • (ii) you have provided written consent to the collection and usage of your personal data for those purposes; or
  • (b) collection and use of personal data without consent is permitted or required by the PDPA or other laws.

We will seek your consent before collecting additional personal data or using your personal data for purposes not previously notified (unless allowed or required by law).

  1. We may collect and use your personal data for any or all of the following purposes:
  • (a) operating our website and online store;
  • (b) processing and fulfilling your orders and returns;
  • (c) verifying your identity and payment details;
  • (d) communicating with you on your orders, updates, or promotional offers (if you’ve opted in);
  • (e) handling customer service requests, feedback, or complaints;
  • (f) updating your personal and contact information;
  • (g) complying with legal obligations and responding to requests from authorities;

Some features of our website may require the sharing of information (including personal data) with third parties. You understand and agree that SneakSurf is not responsible for any misuse of your data as a result of voluntarily using those features. 


Section 3 - Withdrawing Your Consent

  1. You may withdraw your consent to the collection, use, and disclosure of your personal data by contacting our Data Protection Officer (DPO) in writing or via email.
  2. We may require time to process your request, and will inform you of any consequences (e.g. service limitations). We aim to respond within ten (10) business days.
  3. Withdrawing consent may impact our ability to continue providing certain goods or services. You may cancel your withdrawal at any time by contacting us.
  4. Withdrawal of consent does not affect our right to collect, use or disclose personal data where permitted or required by law.


Section 4 - Access And Correction Of Personal Data

  1. If you would like to access or correct your personal data held by us, you may contact our DPO.
  2. A reasonable administrative fee may apply for access requests. If so, we will notify you in advance.
  3. We aim to respond within thirty (30) days. If we are unable to meet this timeline, we will notify you of the revised time frame. If we are unable to fulfill your request, we will provide an explanation (unless we are not required to do so under the PDPA).


Section 5 - Protection Of Personal Data

  1. We have implemented administrative, technical and physical security measures to safeguard your personal data against unauthorised access, use, disclosure, modification, loss or destruction.
  2. While no system is completely secure, we continuously review and update our practices to protect your information.


Section 6 - Accuracy Of Personal Data

  1. We rely on the accuracy of the data you provide. Please keep us informed of any updates or changes to your personal data by contacting our DPO.


Section 7 - Retention Of Personal Data

  1. We will retain your personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, or as required by applicable laws.
  2. When data is no longer needed, we will take steps to securely delete it or anonymise it such that it can no longer be associated with you.

Section 8 - Transfers of Personal Data Outside Of Singapore

  1. We generally do not transfer your personal data outside of Singapore. If such transfers are necessary, we will obtain your consent and ensure that adequate data protection measures are in place.
